I love Edward Gorey's work, so very much enjoyed having to illustrate these 15 emergencies for an activity for the material I've been producing for the British Council for refugee children coming to the UK.

This pic shows how dark the UK is in the Winter and light in the summer, compared to countries refugees are from.

the journal will be in Arabic so the pictures have to read right to left.

small file sizes of pics am working on for a 'journal' to be handed to refugee children when they arrive in the UK, which helps welcome them and which they can fill in with their own information/journey etc...

A lovely young groom commissioned the lower picture from me to accompany the one above (a print I sell regularly) as a present for his wife to celebrate their first year of marriage. The pictures show the two venues they had for their wedding - civil and celebratory.
