Trip to France
Went to stay with friends near Bergerac, then popped over to visit artists Nichollas Hamper and Jane Corquin and their very round cat at their amazing home-made house at Verteuil sur Charente, near Angouleme. If you're in the area and want really good art lessons, pay them a visit... http://www.champgiraud.com/art.htm Contact: nichollashamper@orange.fr

Heath Street, Hampstead at night

It's a distorted view as you can't actually see the cinema and tube all in one viewpoint, but you can when you use artistic licence...

Abuse in Care Homes
Just as my dear old 95 year old mother has to go into a nursing home, I get asked to illustrate 'Abuse in Care Homes' for London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. I've illustrated similar material for other councils before - the material aiming to empower people to Say No to abuse and confide in someone they trust (harder for those who can't speak for themselves).

Christmas Carol vignettes

Local Islington Scenes
I'm working on a series of cards of local landmarks (started by the ones I did at Christmas for the Islington Centre for Refugees and Migrants). London's a big city - will see how far I get, drawing it!

House painting for Mexican family
Maria found me in the last 5 minutes of a craft fair at St Stephen's Church, Pond Street, a couple of weeks ago and commissioned me to paint her and her family in front of the house they had a flat in, before they go back to Mexico on Thursday. The house has a plaque on the front saying Gerard Manley Hopkins lived there...

We're selling them at craft fairs and directly from the Centre and all the proceeds go to the Centre.
