I did these paintings over the last couple of months as my visual response to the extraordinary 2020 - seeking peace and finding solace in our lockdowns, and observing empty London.

The first painting shows my sister-in-law's dining area, the second a cottage we came upon in a woodland near Boscastle, and the third a view of modern London looming over older, empty, streets. The church in the foreground is St Lawrence Jewry near Guildhall.
